CAS joins huge protest against bullfighting in MadridSunday, May 14th 2017
On Saturday May 13 an impressive and huge protest against bullfighting took place in the Spanish capital of Madrid. The protest could count on the participation of 80,000 individuals. CAS International travelled to Madrid to join this protest and stand up for the bulls and horses that are victims of the bullfighting sector.

On Saturday May 13, CAS International will protest against bullfightng in the Spanish capital of Madrid. The protest ‘Tauromaquia es Violencia’ (Bullfighting is Violence) is part of a campaign of 17 organizations, among others CAS. Its main object is to end all types of events with bulls. We have united our efforts and will hold a big protest starting at 16:00 hrs.
End of bull of fire in Algemesi, SpainTuesday, April 11st 2017
The Spanish municipality of Algemesi will no longer organize the cruel event bull of fire. During this event the horns of the bull are covered with an inflammable substance and put on fire. Then, the bull is unleashed with 'burning horns’ and chased by the public. The event will end now that the flow of municipal subsidies stops. CAS International is very happy with this decision.
Anti-bullfighting protest in The Hague, The NetherlandsThursday, April 6th 2017
On April 1, CAS International organized a silent action against bullfighting in The Hague, the political centre of The Netherlands. It was April Fool's but this was not a joke: in Europe bullfights are still held in Spain, Portugal and France. This year, many children will witness a bullfight. The bullfighting season in Europe has just begun. This action is part of a campaign by CAS International to gain support from the Dutch and European Parliaments.
Worldwide actions against bullfighting in ColombiaThursday, February 23rd 2017
From over the whole world organizations and individuals asked the Colombian Congress to prohibit bullfighting in Colombia. CAS International did the same request from the Netherlands.
