Victory! Sant Antoni de Portmany declares itself anti-bullfighting © Mallorca Sense Sang
The Spanish municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza, Balearic Islands) declared itself as anti-bullfighting municipality. 28 municipalities have declared themselves against bullfighting on the Spanish Island in 18 months. This has been achieved thanks to our campaign ‘Mallorca Sense Sang’ (Mallorca without Blood). We already achieved that Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the autonomous Spanish Balearic Islands, declared itself against bullfighting! The total number of anti-bullfighting municipalities in Mallorca is now 32! The main objective of ‘Mallorca Sense Sang’, a campaign of AnimaNaturalis and CAS International supported by HSI, is to abolish bullfighting on the Balearic Islands.
The list of anti-bullfighting municipalities now numbers 146 worldwide. There are now 122 municipalities in Spain that declared themselves against bullfighting. We have reached now 145,000 signatures. You may help us actively so we can collect more signatures to convince the local politicians to forbid bullfighting on the Balearic Islands. Please help us by signing and sharing the petition!
