The government of the Mexican State of Guerrero has unanimously decided to prohibit bullfighting. With this decision, Guerrero becomes the second state in Mexico where bullfighting has been banned.

The Spanish municipality of Santa María del Camí (Mallorca) has declared itself as anti-bullfighting municipality. The motion that requested the declaration was accepted with 7 votes in favour, and 5 abstentions. This success has been achieved thanks to the lobbying of members of the campaign ‘Mallorca Sin Sangre’ (Mallorca without blood).

De Spanish municipality of Sencelles (Mallorca) has declared itself as anti-bullfighting municipality. The motion that requested the declaration was accepted with 7 votes in favour, and 3 against. The municipality also decided to ban circuses with animals.
No more travels to the running of the bulls with STA TravelTuesday, July 15th 2014
The travel agency STA Travel has recently organized special trips to the running of the bulls in Pamplona during the feasts of San Fermin (every year between the 7th and 14th of July). The organization for animal welfare The League Against Cruel Sports initiated a petition to ask STA Travel to stop offering trips to the running of the bulls.
