On Saturday December 7th, a memorial service was held in The Hague for the 60,000 bulls that have been killed during bullfights and cruel patronal festivities in Spain in 2013.

The Vegan Streaker Groep and CAS International organized this commemoration. During this modest protest a symbolic cemetery featuring 60 white crosses has been placed in front of the Spanish Embassy. The participants of the memorial walked together to the Embassy, bearing candles. They held a minute of silence, and a memorial wreath was laid at the doorstep of the embassy. According to Marius Kolff, director of CAS, this commemoration was such a special occasion that CAS wanted to join it for this time. CAS International wants to thank everyone who joined this commemoration!
